ASHTON PRIMARY SCHOOL:
MAKING A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER
Ashton Primary School is
Where children are:
Valued, safe and secure
Happy and grow in confidence
- Given the tools for life long learning
- Independent learners who are eager to achieve
- Given the chance to be the best they can be.
On behalf of all our staff, governors and children, I would like to welcome you to Ashton Primary School’s website, and if this is your first visit, hope that we will get the chance to meet you soon in person and have the pleasure of welcoming you into our wonderful, friendly and very welcoming school.
At Ashton, the children, parents, staff and governors form a great supportive and positive team where everyone is valued and works together, and where successes and achievements are celebrated.
Our dedicated staff are committed to doing the very best for our children and really do care passionately, not only about the children’s academic progress, but just as importantly, their happiness, wellbeing and personal development.
We work closely with parents to ensure that they know what is going on in school, what their children are learning and how they can support them at home. We welcome parents into school to celebrate their children’s achievements and to get to see what they have been learning about in school.
Our governors are very involved in many aspects of school life and are keen to ensure that the school goes from strength to strength through a continuous cycle of development and improvement, they rightly believe that only the best is good enough for our children.
Finally onto the most important members of our school team – the children, who truly are amazing. They are lively, enthusiastic, polite, very well motivated and keen to learn. At Ashton, we take great pride and pleasure in watching our children grow and develop into kind, caring and respectful young people. Our main aim at Ashton is to instill in all our children a passion for learning; we want the children to get the most out of life and be ambitious for their futures. Our children are what makes it a joy to work at Ashton and what makes me so proud to be the head teacher of such a wonderful school.
As a team we work hard to ensure that all our children achieve their potential and firmly believe that together, we make a difference.
We hope you will find plenty of useful information on this website. Please contact us if there is anything else you would like to know or would like to come to visit to get a true feel of what a special place Ashton Primary School is.
